Dr. Jeffrey Kranzler, Ph.D., LCSW, is a child, adolescent and adult therapist. A Johns Hopkins University graduate and former supervisor of the Child/Adolescent Outpatient Department of the Albert Einstein College of Medicine, he brings to Proliance Center years of clinical training and experience to provide the most effective treatment for his patients. He holds a Doctorate in Social Work from Yeshiva University.
Dr. Jeffrey Kranzler, Ph.D., LCSW, earned his clinical license in New York where he trained in multiple prestigious outpatient clinics and is currently licensed in New York and Florida. In the course of his career he has treated numerous patients with all forms of mental health issues and diagnoses. He brings a combination of deep compassion, sharp insight, patience and a result-focused commitment to all of his patients.

Philosophy of Treatment
Here at Proliance Center, Dr. Jeffrey Kranzler, Ph.D., LCSW, believes that focusing on an individual’s strengths is the key to helping them overcome their challenges.
Dr. Jeffrey Kranzler, Ph.D., LCSW, also believes that mental health is achieved by increasing opportunities to express and utilize individual strengths, and by mastering the skills necessary to address the difficulties people face.
He knows that distress is often caused by negative feelings about the past and fears of the future. Training the mind to be in the present moment is not easy, but it is an integral part of achieving lasting mental health.
Dr. Jeffrey Kranzler, Ph.D., LCSW, feels that by correcting our beliefs and learning to interpret negative events and feelings in an accurate and positive way, we develop the resilience needed to face and overcome our challenges. Negative emotions arise because we have faulty ways of viewing the events that occur in our lives.
He feels that true work is developing the skills to address all symptoms in the present. Talking about and analyzing the past has limited benefits to mental health. Our fate lies not in our stars, our upbringing, or our genes, but rather in the choices that we consciously make in each present moment.
Here at the Proliance Center, Dr. Jeffrey Kranzler, Ph.D., LCSW, believes that we attain happiness by having meaning and purpose in our lives. Happiness is not achieved by getting what one wants, or by completely eliminating negative events or circumstances (this being impossible in any case). The research shows that using one’s unique skills and talents to promote one’s values and make the world a better place is a key component of living happy and fulfilling lives.
